Belajar Design Grafis di BLK Samarinda

Lama tak menulis blog, maklum sedikit sibuk mengikuti pelatihan di BLK Samarinda kejuruan Design Grafis. awalnya saya hanya mencoba untuk belajar dan mengisi waktu luang, jadi biar makin banyak ilmu ya ikut pelatihan. Pertamanya saya daftar bagian Front Office, namun saya daftar ulang design grafis. Sebenarnya semua ilmu itu bermanfaat, hanya saja saya memang ingin bagian ini. karna menurut saya di era milenial kita harus update tekhnologi, biar ga kuper gitu. Singkat cerita setelah mengikuti test yang berjumlah 194 orang, saya masuk kategori nilai ke 3 tertinggi test. hahahaa kaget juga sih sebebnernya, tapi ya bersyukur aja ya kan. karna yang di ambil hanya sekitar 16 orang tiap masing-masing kejuruan.

saya belajar selama 320 JP. Laah kok lama banget, ya begitulah. sampe jelek rasanya wkwkw.
disini dapat banyak teman sih, banyak karakter, ada yg bawel, ada yg suka melawak, ada yg pendiem banget, ada juga yang suka di bully di kelas. tapi mereka semua baik dan sangat solid. kita sering banget dihukum karna kita bandel.

pelatihan nya senin-jumat dari jam 07.30 wita - 17.00 wita. pasti mikirnya loh kok lama banget sampe seharian kaya anak sekolah, ya namanya jga pelatihan, kalau mau belajar ya harus sabar. tapi santuuy.. ada disediakan makan siang kok. makanan nya pun bervariasi setiap harinya. Makanan nya pun porsi Rp. 30.000,- an kalau di Samarinda.Tidak hanya itu, kita pun mendapatkan uang transportasi Rp.35.000,-/hari nya. tapi uang ini akan dibayarkan pada saat akhir pelatihan selesai. Lumayan lah ya kan itung-itung hemat di ongkos. wkwkwk

Waaahh enak dong, eh jangan seneng dulu, sebelum resmi jadi peserta pelatihan kami menjalani Orientasi. yaah ala ala anak ospek di kuliahan begitu lah. selama 3 hari. dan yang melatih adalah TNI dan Polisi. kita seharian di jemur belajar PBB sampe warna kulit kaya zebra belang belang. -__-'. Hari pertama setelah ospek, auto tidak bisa tidur nyenyak malam itu. asli pegal semua kaki. muka terasa kebakar, perih semua. Pagi harinya auto ngaca kulit wajah terkelupasan, Aaaaaaaaaahhhhhh tidaaakkk.... auto ingin berteriak. berasa jadi buruk rupa. wkwkwkw
Tapi auto percaya bahwa kalau belajar itu perlu pengorbanan, dari pada berkorban tapi ga jadian. looh wkwkw

ini adalah foto candid auto. wkwkwk kok masih tetap ganteng ya? haduuh kan auto mah udah ganteng dari sono nya. biar disaat kondisi terjelek pun masih aja tetep ganteng. wkwkwk

Setelah mengikuti orientasi itu kami pun mengikuti pelatihan dikelas masing masing. berasa anak sekolah banget sih sebenernya. Tapi karna teman-teman auto otaknya pada sedikit geser, jadi seru aja sih. kami mulai belajar proses design. ternyata untuk mendesign itu kita harus buat seketsa kasarnya dulu di kertas, kemudian baru diaplikasikan di software. kami pun men-design di buku gambar 50 logo perusahaan, Kartu Nama, Poster, StoryBoard, dll. Setetlah itu kami coba terapkan di komputer. Oh iya, kami bebas nih memilih untuk menggunakan CorelDraw atau AdobeIllustrator. Kalau auto sih milihnya CorelDraw ya biar ga ribet. wkwkw tapi intinya sama aja sih. cuma karna ga ngerti cara pakai AI aja.

Hasil Design auto nih... cekidot.. wkwkwk maklum masih amatir ya.

       Abdul Rahman Sidik. 2016. The Effectiveness of Using Cartoon Film in Teaeching Speaking at The Second Grade Students’ of SMP Plus Melati Samarinda in Academic Year 2016/2017. Thesis. Teacher Training and Tarbiyah Faculty. English Education Department. State Islamic Institute of Samarinda. Advisors: Dr. Umar Fauzan, M.Pd as the first advisor and Rostanti Toba, M.Pd as the second advisor.

This thesis was conducted at the second grade students of SMP Plus Melati Samarinda in academic year 2016/2017. In this research, the researcher utilizing cartoon film media in teaching speaking. Speaking is needed in learning language. But many students find difficulty in learning speaking and fell bored in teaching and learning process, in other words they need the media in order to make easier in learning speaking. The suitable media to develop students’ speaking in elementary level is audio visual media especially cartoon film media.
The problem of the can be formulated as follows: “Is cartoon film effective in teaching speaking at the second grade of SMP Plus Melati Samarinda in academic year 2016/2017?”: The objective of the research is to know the effectiveness of cartoon film in teaching speaking at the second grade of SMP Plus Melati Samarinda in academic year 2016/2017.
This research is experimental design; the research design used by the researcher is experimental design in the form of experimental group and control group. In this study the instruments was used are the post–test. It has two variables investigated in this research are cartoon film media and to know speaking mastery, there are different between the students were taught by using cartoon film and the students were not taught by using cartoon film. The researcher analyzed the collected data by using quantitative data analysis. The analysis technique of data analysis used t–test statistical analysis.
Research finding: the teaching speaking by using cartoon film media to the second grade students of SMP Plus Melati Samarinda made them learn English enjoyably and interestingly. From the data analysis, there was an effect of using cartoon film as media in teaching speaking to the speaking mastery achieved by the second grade students of SMP Plus Melati Samarinda in the academic year of 2016/2017. The use of cartoon film media will be significant if t count > t table. Data analysis above showed that the level significant 5% is 1.68 and at the level significant 1% is 2.42. It means that t-value is higher than t-table or 3.20>1.68 and at the level significant 1% is 3.20>2.42, so H0 is rejected or Ha is accepted.
Based on the research finding, the researcher concludes that the researcher concluded that: (1) the students’ score that taught by using audio visual media (cartoon film) was more better than the students’ score that taught without using audio visual media (cartoon film). The result of the experimental group post-test was achieved, there were 13 students who got very good result and 7 student who got good result. Those were the students’ score by using audio visual media especially cartoon film. (2) The result of the control group post-test achieved, there were 4 students who got very good result, there were 15 students who got good result and there was 1 student who got average result. Those were the students score without using audio visual media (cartoon film). It means that the experimental group post test is higher than the control group post test. (3) There is significant difference between students’ score by using audio visual media (cartoon film) and taught without using audio visual media (cartoon film). The result of experimental group post-test showed that 13 students who got score 85-100. The result of control group post-test showed that 4 students who got score 85–100. (4) The result of the t-test was 3.20, while t-table with degree of freedom (df) = (Nx + Ny) – 2 or (20 + 20) – 2 = 38 at the level significant 5% is 1.68 and at the level significant 1% is 2.42. It means that t-value is higher than t-table or 3.20>1.68 and at the level significant 1% is 3.20>2.42. It means that there were significant influences between score of experimental group post-test and control group post-test. It can be concluded that the students got good achievement in speaking after taught by using audio visual media (cartoon flm). Audio visual media (cartoon film) is effective to teach English, especially speaking, so it can be one of reference media to teach English.
